Assistant Instructors may be approved for one or more subjects

      • Anatomy & Physiology
      • AJJF & DZRSI History
      • Standards of Practice
      • DZRRT Applications
      • Asian Medicine and DZRRT

Requirements to become an Assistant Instructor

  • Current registration in the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation
  • Current AJJF Background Screen
  • Knowledge of and interest in the subject
  • Attend additional programs in the subject as an Aide
  • Volunteer or be recruited and supervised by an approved DZRSI Instructor
  • Successful completion of the Program for which assisting
  • Ability to learn how to teach
  • Interest in further study of DZRRT
  • Ability to articulate ideas
  • Basic computer skills or ability to be taught is beneficial
  • Ability to correct homework assignments
  • Approval by DZRSI Standards Committee not needed

Responsibilities of an Assistant Instructor

  • Assist in teaching under the supervision of an Approved Instructor in one or more DZRRT Programs
  • Teach under the supervision of an Instructor
  • Assist in other possible tasks such as Administrative work or correcting homework
